Support Plea for 3 Ladies and a boy Child
Dear well-wishers,
This is about plight of a family of four members in Thrissur District. They are three ladies and one boy who is studying in middle class. They lost their everything due to irresponsible behaviour of the sole-bread winning person whose whereabout is unknown now. Almost 8 months now since they are in this sad situation – now finding difficulty to lead normal life. Please go through a small description of the happenings:
Rajani (Not official name) works as a sales staff at a shop for a monthly salary of ₹15,000. The trouble arose when she handed over her accumulated savings—gathered through chit funds, pledging valuables, and loans taken—to her husband; the money was intended for enrolling her academically bright daughter in a degree course and for building a small dream house. That man—who was an alcoholic and already burdened with debt took the aforementioned money, abandoned his family, and left town. Now, it is time to secure admission for the child. She has also been evicted from her husband’s family home. Her salary is insufficient to cover even the rent and the living expenses for the four of them. Known and verified through a known School Teacher adjacent to her, AVAAS extended this helping hand the moment they realized Rajani might take a drastic step, driven by the realization that – even if she worked for the rest of her life, she would never be able to recover the lost money or own a home. The amount she lost is over 20 Lakhs in cash and right in ancestral property, plus some unsettled financial burden by ex-husband who is at large.
We request all kind-hearted people to include them in our prayers and if possible, support AVAAS to contribute better for this initiative Any amount to AVAAS is okay and it is advisable to have it ASAP.
