Avaas Foundation is a Non Governmental Organisation registered under the Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific & Charitable Societies Registration Act of 1955. Although the founder members were active in philanthropic events and activities much earlier, a formal registration of organisation happened in the year of 2017. Avaas is having a governing body consisting 7 board members and are in the process of including voluntary members into its registered members list. The hierarchy of the governing body is – President (1), Secretary (1), Treasurer(1), Vice President (1), Joint Secretary(1), Joint (Treasurer) and Executive Members (2) other than its normal members. Having the status of a formally registered entity, Avaas currently having requisites surch as Registered Office (rented), office stationary, Bank Account with State Bank of India, PAN card (Legal Requirement of India Government for NGOs) and are able to receive Funds from like-minded individuals and funds of Corporate Social Responsibility portion of Companies and Organisations addressed in India.
