Cancellation / Refund Policy

The source of income of AVAAS is its executive members, members, and associate volunteers and well-wishers.  We do our financial transactions in a transparent way.  Every penny that comes in is properly accounted for, audited and reports submitted to the concerned authorities in a way the law of land stipulates.  The financial year for AVAAS books of account is 01 April to 31st March.

There are multiple payment options to send us your donations, member contributions and fees etc. kindly make use of them.  Also, we have set enough security parameters to keep the transaction safe for both donor and receiver.  During the payment process keeping certain data of yours is a mandatory thing for the processor.  To know more about the data and its requirement and management, you can find it in the site privacy policy.

There may be specific purpose fundraising other than the general category that is required to find day-to-day running of the organization.  You may opt for any of them or both.  Please understand and note that whatever transaction you are doing on this site is a voluntary thing and no compelled act is involved.  We may not be individually addressing the contributors for the support extended.  We assure you that each penny will be used for solving the purpose of the organization.  Importantly, funds transferred will be treated as a willful act and as non-refundable assistance.  In case of a misuse of your financial documents and accounts by an unauthorized person and AVAAS is the beneficiary, we will be settling it on a case-to-case basis as per the law of the jurisdiction – Pathanamthitta.

We are also expecting our tax exemption certificate soon and funds transferred will be exempted from calculations of Income Tax under 80G of the IT Act.
