Further to the request for LED High mast lamp at Undaplavu junction, as a follow-up and required recommendation AVAAS president Mr Ajaya Kumar had met Ex-Chief Minister Shri Oommen Chandy at a function at Sharjah Indian Association and explained the situation of the junction and our application. He had endorsed our letter to Shri Anto Antony MP and the same was handed over to Mr. M P who was also there for a meeting with Shri Rahul Gandhi.
We could learn that the Lamp Pole request is approved and any time it will be commissioned.
Further to the assurance, Adv. Sanal Kumar ( CPIM Leader) and Shri Vijaya Kumar Manipuzha (BJP Leader) of the panchayath were also updated about the developments for required local support.

Distributed blankets made exclusively for flood victims near AVAAS registered office – which itself was submerged during the devastating Flood of August 15 to August 18, 2018. These new blankets were supplied by M/s. Three Colours Safety Equip. Trdg. LLC – Sharjah that managed to send two shipments through like minded travellers flying from UAE. Although this was a very nominal one, AVAAS could coordinate many food & essential supplies distributed to Eranakulam District, Chengannur & Vayanad where flood affected most. These aids were from the kind hearted NRIs who are associated with Indian Association Sharjah.

Submitted an application for fixing a High Mast LED Lamp pole at Undaplavu Junction (Nedumpuram Panchayath) to Respected Parliament Member of Pathanamthitta Shri. ANTO ANTONY. This was handed over to him by AVAAS President Mr. Ajaya Kumar at a function at St. Joseph College Cherthala, where he was attending an education function. A copy of the same has been handed over to Mr. Kodikkunnil Suresh MP as well.

As part of our charity intiative a good quality Wheel Chair donated by Mr. Pradeep Kumar & Maya Pradeep Kumar for an underprivileged villageman (Name not being disclosed) in our neighbourhood. AVAAS is very proud to spread the news and registers its whole hearted Congratulations to Mrs. & Mr. Pradeep for this noble act. May god bless his family.
